The factory item provides exhaust flow from the main & bypass manifolds to the turbine. When the blow off valve's actuator is activated, primary & secondary back pressure decreases the forced induction flow and results in a drastic engine power loss. The HKS Extension Kit is designed & developed to prevent such a power loss scenario. This extension kit improves the turbine efficiency & performance to elimiminate a sudden loss in engine power. This is acheived by separating the the main & bypass manifolds, and thus eliminating any exhaust interferences due to back pressure from the exhaust flow
