HKS Turbo Elbow / HKS Extension kit - Skyline R33 GTST / R34 GTT

The factory item provides exhaust flow from the main & bypass manifolds to the turbine. When the blow off valve's actuator is activated, primary & secondary back pressure decreases the forced induction flow and results in a drastic engine power loss. The HKS Extension Kit is designed & developed to prevent such a power loss scenario. This extension kit improves the turbine efficiency & performance to elimiminate a sudden loss in engine power. This is acheived by separating the the main & bypass manifolds, and thus eliminating any exhaust interferences due to back pressure from the exhaust flow. This enable the factory turbine to perform efficiently since the loss happened nearer to the flange extension. This means the exhaust flow collector is attached to the lower portion where back pressures & exhaust flow intereferences are low. This also minimizes the exhaust flow resistance by expanding the size of the main manifold immediately after the turbine exit. This resulted in prevention of secondary back pressure and enable a stable forced induction pressure which will see improved engine power. The use of high quality stainless steel material in the extension kit's construction provides superior heat resistance, corrosion resistant, reliability, and durability.
