The Cusco Oil Catch Can works on the same priniciple as a crankcase vent filter. It bypasses the connection between the crankcase and the air induction intake track and thereby relieving pressure placed against the valve train when the engine is under load. However, the oil catch can is more refined that a crankcase vent filte insofar as the engine oil used by the valve train will not drip onto surrounding engine components. Instead the oil catch can ‘catches' all excess oil blown out by the valve train. This not only keeps your engine bay clean, but it maximizes performance and provides great engine styling.
